We will therefore work on three levels:

First:
Someone outside of Nanjing only knows about what was told to him or what she has seen on TV or in magazines. This is the national level. more ...

Second:
Someone inside Nanjing is known to real spaces, buildings, roads and many details. This is the citylevel. more ...

Third:
This is the level of the district or neighborhood where someone is living. These - lets say - personal images are very important for feeling at home, for feeling familiar and save.
On this level we chose the historical area "Men-Xi" in the south of nanjing city, an area that is directly connected to the wall, the great south gate and the river "Qin Huai".
In this area we worked with two groups.
